Short, dated entries: what changed, on which system, and what the lesson was. The technical comparison pieces live here too — Zigbee or Matter, KNX or Home Assistant, wired or wireless.
note Home Assistant, Homey or a closed system They differ less in capability than in who keeps control of the system, and what happens when a vendor disappears. note Zigbee mesh stability and Thread border routers Why the network starts dropping devices after a few weeks, and what Thread changes — on the same 2.4 GHz band. note What to wire during a renovation Run by run: what has to go in during a renovation, and what only needs preparing.
